Welcome back to the USA! It was quite an adventure living in Buenos Aires and then getting word my husband could return to the USA. We flew out of Ezeiza airport with little drama into Miami International Airport. We were both so nervous on the flight we could not sleep.
We got into MIA (nice acronym) at 6:30 am and went to immigration. I was excited and nervous. We went right through to a room where a Customs, Border Protection agent went over my husband's documents. She was surpised at the amount of paperwork and commented that she though she was processing 3 family members. The whole process took about half-hour. We were advised his green card would be mailed in 1-8 months. He would need to get a social security card, etc.
We left immigration and then with little fanfare got our luggage, left the airport and were on to our next adventure, living in the USA.

welcome back to USA
suerte!
Congratulations! I can't imagine how good it must feel to be back in the USA with your husband. My husband was recently deported to Peru and I am now living with him there. Returning to the US is just a dream to us at this point. I would love to talk to you about your experience. I don't know anyone else who has gone through what I am currently going through. My email is ajn2002@hotmail.com. I would love to hear from you!
